Alex Alessandroni Jr. was born into a rich musical heritage.
Born and raised in Rome, Italy, he began studying classical piano at an early age. His father is the well-respected arranger, guitarist and whistler of “A Fistful of Dollars” and many more world-known “Spaghetti Western” movie soundtracks, and his mother a well-known singer.
By eighteen Alex was chosen to perform with the Rome Symphony Orchestra, but his interest in American music eventually led him to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music. Upon completion of his studies at Berklee, Alex moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in music.
Since 1988 he has performed, directed and/or recorded with artists such as Babyface, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Nelly Furtado, Leann Rimes, Faith Evans, Toni Braxton, Natalie Cole, Warren Cuccurullo, Don Felder, Bobby Brown, After 7, Vasco Rossi, Jovanotti to name a few.
